Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Berwick knocks off Hazleton Area

In Monday's league outing, the host Berwick Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 5-2 win over the Hazleton Area Cougars.

The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Spartans enter the Wyoming Valley 1 outing with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Wyoming Valley West by Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 6-0, in a league test.

The Cougars now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crestwood for a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Thursday, October 2. Hazleton Area will clash with a Comets team coming off a 5-1 league win over Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Comets record now stands at 10-1.
