The Berwick Bulldogs soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Hazleton Area Cougars to 2 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Wyoming Valley West for a Wyoming Valley 1 game on Thursday, September 11. Berwick will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA). The Knights come into the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Lake-Lehman edged Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA), 10-1, in a league game.
