Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Eastside improves its record to 11-24 on the season. The Eagles host Columbia (Decatur, GA) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-18. Columbia lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Lithonia (Lithonia, GA)

The Jaguars now own a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Cedar Shoals will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Madison County (Danielsville, GA). The Lions record now stands at 20-13.
