The Corinth Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Pontotoc Cougars to 0 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.

The Warriors now possess a 3-20 record. They play next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. Corinth will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Walnut (Walnut, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 18-6.

The Cougars (11-18) will now prepare for their game against North Pontotoc (Ecru, MS). The Vikings enter the Class 4A Region 1 game with a 7-8 record. In their last game, North Pontotoc was dropped by Mooreville (Mooreville, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
