Fans at Monday's league contest between the Langley Saxons (McLean, VA) and the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), observed Langley's volleyball team top McLean by a count of 3-0.

The Saxons (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals enter the Liberty contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Washington-Liberty notched a victory over Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Highlanders battle the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a Liberty contest, on Tuesday, October 7. McLean will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Statesmen go into the battle with a 10-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Wakefield (Arlington, VA).
