Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV) and the visiting Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV), saw St. Joseph Central's soccer squad knock off Riverside by a count of 7-4.

The Irish (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cross Lanes Christian (Charleston, WV). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Cross Lanes Christian by Nitro (Nitro, WV), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors battle the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 5. Riverside will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Big Reds enter the battle with a 3-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Winfield (Winfield, WV).
