Nebraska High School Volleyball - Bellevue East can't get by Burke

September 3, 2024: Bellevue, NE 68005

Burke Bulldogs (Omaha, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Burke improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Marian (Omaha, NE) to face the Crusaders in a A District test on Thursday, September 5. The Crusaders go into the test with a record of 4-3. Marian won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Pius X (Lincoln, NE)

The Chieftains now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Omaha Central for a A District test on Tuesday, September 10. Bellevue East will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.
