Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) and the visiting Coretta Scott King YWLA Soaring Eagle (Atlanta, GA), observed South Cobb's volleyball team top Coretta Scott King YWLA by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, McEachern notched a victory over New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Soaring Eagle battle the KIPP Atlanta Collegiate Warriors (Atlanta, GA) in a 2A Area 5 contest, on Tuesday, September 10. Coretta Scott King YWLA will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record.
