Mississippi High School Volleyball - Port Gibson tips South Pike

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Port Gibson Blue Waves volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the South Pike Eagles.
The Blue Waves (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wesson (Wesson, MS). The Cobras enter the Class 3A Region 7 challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Wesson got by North Pike (Summit, MS), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. South Pike will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS).
