With the triumph, Putnam advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Kingsmen travel to Corvallis (Corvallis, OR) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Jaguars now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Century will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Gresham (Gresham, OR). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
