In Wednesday's non-league match, the North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) volleyball squad overcame the host West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars (Winchester, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Triopia/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 4. North Greene will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Griggsville-Perry (Griggsville, IL).

With the loss, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to South County (Franklin, IL) to battle the Vipers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 4.
