In Saturday's league battle, the host Manzano Monarchs soccer squad scored a good 10-0 win over the Rio Grande Ravens.
The Monarchs (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM). The Demons go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe was overwhelmed by Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Ravens (1-11) will now prepare for their battle against Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bulldogs go into the 5A District 5 battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Albuquerque notched a victory over Capital (Santa Fe, NM), 10-1, in a league battle.
