In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Portland Christian Eagles volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Fern Creek Tigers.
The Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their battle against Ballard (Louisville, KY). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 16-6 record. In their last battle, Ballard nudged North Hardin (Radcliff, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
