New Mexico High School Soccer - West Mesa nudges Rio Grande

In Monday's league outing, the visiting West Mesa Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Rio Grande Ravens.
The Mustangs (1-7) will now prepare for their outing against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Tigers go into the 5A District 5 outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Los Lunas got by Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Ravens confront the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 5 outing, on Wednesday, October 2. Rio Grande will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 3-9 record after their 10-0 league loss to Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM).
