In Monday's league outing, the visiting McMichael Phoenix soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders.

The Phoenix (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against West Stokes (King, NC). The Wildcats go into the Mid-State 2A outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, West Stokes got by Morehead (Eden, NC), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a Mid-State 2A outing, on Wednesday, October 2. T.W. Andrews will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record. The Rams go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).
