Georgia High School Volleyball - Banks County can't get by Oglethorpe County

The Oglethorpe County Patriots edged the visiting Banks County Leopards volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Monday's league game.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) in a 1A Area 8 game, on Tuesday, October 1. Oglethorpe County will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 18-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA).

The Leopards (15-19) will now prepare for their game against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The go into the 1A Area 8 game with a 13-15 record. In their last game, Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy was edged by Athens Academy (Athens, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
