Georgia High School Softball - East Laurens bounces Southwest

September 30, 2025: Macon, GA 31206

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) and the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), observed East Laurens's softball team prevail over Southwest by a tally of 23-0.

The Falcons (18-5) will now prepare for their bout against Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Golden Hawks enter the 1A D-I Region 2 contest with a 14-11 record. In their last contest, Washington County was routed by Dodge County (Eastman, GA), 11-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 bout, on Thursday, October 2. Southwest will attempt to advance on its 2-19 season record. The Gryphons enter the contest with a 20-9 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Glascock County (Gibson, GA).
