Texas High School Volleyball - Alvin overwhelmed by Shadow Creek

The Shadow Creek Sharks topped the host Alvin Yellowjackets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Sharks face the Manvel Mavericks (Manvel, TX) in a 6A Region III District 22 game, on Friday, October 3. Shadow Creek will attempt to advance on its 23-13 season record. The Mavericks go into the game with a 24-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX).

The Yellowjackets (11-21) will now prepare for their game against Pearland (Pearland, TX). The Oilers come into the 6A Region III District 22 outing with a 19-17 record. In their last outing, Pearland beat Sam Rayburn (Pasadena, TX), 3-0, in a league outing.
