The Shepard Astros topped the visiting Argo Argonauts volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Astros confront the Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) in a South Suburban game, on Thursday, October 2. Shepard will attempt to advance on its 12-6 season record. The Braves go into the game with a 3-17 record after their 2-0 league loss to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).

The Argonauts (12-8) will now prepare for their game against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks go into the South Suburban game with a 0-12 record. In their last game, Hillcrest was dropped by Reavis (Burbank, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
