Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Towanda Athens

Athens Wildcats (Athens, PA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (3-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Hornets come into the PIAA District IV challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Wellsboro beat Coudersport (Coudersport, PA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights face the Liberty Mounties (Liberty, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 2. Towanda will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record.
