Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Towanda tips Athens

September 9, 2025: Athens, PA 18810

In Tuesday's league test, the visiting Towanda Black Knights volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Athens Wildcats.

With the win, Towanda advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Black Knights host Montoursville (Montoursville, PA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wellsboro for a PIAA District IV test on Thursday, September 11. Athens will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 3-2.
