In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Bolsa Grande Matadors volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Santiago Cavaliers.

The Matadors (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Vaqueros come into the Garden Grove game with a 13-6 record. In their last game, Rancho Alamitos gained a win over Savanna (Anaheim, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.

The Cavaliers (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Estancia (Costa Mesa, CA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Estancia went down by La Quinta (Westminster, CA), 3-1, in a league outing.
