The Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) volleyball overcame the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest.

The Hornets (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mitchell (New Port Richey, FL). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 15-2 record.

Next, the Bears battle the Dunnellon Tigers (Dunnellon, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 2. Central will attempt to move on its 6-14 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-12 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Leesburg (Leesburg, FL).
