The Charleston Tigers volleyball squad (Charleston, AR), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Providence Academy Patriots (Rogers, AR)

The Patriots (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thaden (Bentonville, AR). The Barnstormer enter the 3A 1 contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Thaden was knocked off by Mansfield (Mansfield, AR), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Lavaca Golden Arrows (Lavaca, AR) in a 3A 1 contest, on Thursday, October 2. Charleston will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Golden Arrows go into the battle with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Elkins (Elkins, AR).
