With the win, Cheboygan improves its record to 16-2 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Newberry (Newberry, MI) to face the Indians in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Indians go into the test with a record of 10-6. Newberry won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Cedarville (Cedarville, MI)

The Rayders (9-11) will now prepare for their game against Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Vikings go into the game with a 3-14 record. In their last game, Grayling was edged by Kalkaska (Kalkaska, MI), 3-1, in a non-league game.
