With the win, Foard improves its record to 11-8 on the season. The Tigers host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to encounter the Bears in a Western Foothills 4A/5A battle on Thursday, October 2. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 2-13. Bunker Hill won 3-1 in their recent league battle against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)

The Mustangs now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hickory for a Western Foothills 4A/5A contest on Thursday, October 2. East Lincoln will meet a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 24-4.
