With the win, Oakwood Academy improves its record to 9-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Valley Head (Valley Head, AL) to face the Tigers in a 1A Area 16 test on Thursday, October 2. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-9.

The Jaguars now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. Mae Jemison will face a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Arab (Arab, AL). The Hawks record now stands at 10-19.
