In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting South Umpqua Lancers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Siuslaw Vikings.

The Lancers (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglas (Winston, OR). The Trojans come into the 3A Far West challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Douglas beat Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings play the Glide Wildcats (Glide, OR) in a 3A Far West game, on Thursday, October 2. Siuslaw will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Coquille (Coquille, OR).
