North Carolina High School Volleyball - Tuscola over North Buncombe

September 4, 2024: Waynesville, NC 28786

The Tuscola Mountaineers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting North Buncombe Black Hawks to 1 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mountaineers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pisgah for a Mountain Seven 3A outing on Thursday, September 5. Tuscola will play a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, North Buncombe drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Black hawks host McDowell (Marion, NC) to play the Titans in a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 5. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 1-7. McDowell lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hickory (Hickory, NC)
