The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Bleckley County Royals to 3 in the Gryphons league win on Thursday.
The Gryphons now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, September 9. Academy for Classical Education will play a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Southwest (Macon, GA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 10-6.
The Royals (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers enter the 1A D-I Region 2 challenge with a 7-3 record.
