The Lumpkin County Indians softball team scored 22 runs and held the host Chestatee War Eagles to 0 in the Indians league win on Thursday.
Next, the Indians meet the North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 8. Lumpkin County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-3 season record. The Titans go into the test with a 5-8 record after their 13-1 league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA).
The War Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians come into the non-league outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Tallulah Falls was routed by Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 18-0, in a non-league outing.
