The Nitros go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Glendale lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA)

The Tornados now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arcadia for a Pacific contest on Tuesday, September 9. Hoover will meet a Apaches team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ayala (Chino Hills, CA). The Apaches record now stands at 6-4.
