North Carolina High School Volleyball - Newton-Conover overwhelmed by Foard

Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Foard advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to face the Knights in a Western Foothills 4A/5A test on Tuesday, September 9. The Knights go into the test with a record of 9-3.

The Red Devils now sport a 1-9 record. They play next when they host Maiden for a Western Foothills 4A/5A outing on Tuesday, September 9. Newton-Conover will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-2.
