The Horizon Hawks (Winter Garden, FL) volleyball knocked off the host South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Hawks now possess a 11-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgewater for a 6A District 4 match on Tuesday, September 9. Horizon will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Jones (Orlando, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.

The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their match against The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL). The Buffalo enter the non-league match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, The Villages Charter notched a victory over East Ridge (Clermont, FL), 3-1, in a non-league match.
