The Gryphons now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Mount Pisgah Academy (Candler, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 2-3.

The Mariners (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions enter the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Queen's Grant was outscored by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.
