Ohio High School Volleyball - Springfield bounced by Mineral Ridge

The Springfield Tigers volleyball squad (New Middletown, OH), was knocked off 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH)

The Rams (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Memorial (Campbell, OH). The Red Devils enter the Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Memorial notched a victory over Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Waterloo Vikings (Atwater, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet contest, on Monday, September 8. Springfield will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to McDonald (McDonald, OH).
