The Altamont Knights volleyball team (Birmingham, AL), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL)

The Knights (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles enter the 2A Area 9 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Cornerstone was nudged by Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Vincent Yellow Jackets (Vincent, AL) in a 2A Area 9 challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Altamont will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL).
