The Thomas Walker Pioneers held off the host Harlan County Black Bears volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12.
The Black Bears (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY). The Yellowjackets enter the District 52 test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Middlesboro held off Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
