Mississippi High School Volleyball - Meridian overwhelmed by Pearl

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Pearl Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Meridian Wildcats.
The Pirates (3-15) will now prepare for their battle against Brandon (Brandon, MS). The Bulldogs come into the Class 7 Region 3 battle with a 21-2 record. In their last battle, Brandon achieved victory over Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) in a Class 7 Region 3 battle, on Thursday, September 7. Meridian will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 10-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Northwest Rankin (Brandon, MS).
