Texas High School Volleyball - Frankston tips Westwood

September 5, 2025: Palestine, TX 75802

In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Frankston Indians volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Westwood Panthers.

With the win, Frankston advances its record to 6-13 on the season. The Indians host Neches (Neches, TX) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 10-13. Neches lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Troup (Troup, TX)

The Panthers now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teague for a 3A Region III District 20 test on Tuesday, September 9. Westwood will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Riesel (Riesel, TX). The Lions record now stands at 10-5.
