In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Walnut Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rowland Raiders.
The Mustangs (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Fighting Lancers enter the non-league challenge with a 12-0 record. In their last challenge, Western Christian beat Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Rowland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA).
