The Metcalfe County Hornets held off the host Cumberland County Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hart County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8.

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY). The Hornets enter the test with a 1-4 record.
