The Lumpkin County Indians softball team (Dahlonega, GA), was tipped 7-6 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA)

Coming up next, the Bobcats encounter the White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA) in a 3A Region 7 test, on Thursday, September 7. Gilmer will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Warriors enter the test with a 10-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Pickens (Jasper, GA).

The Indians (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Fannin County was tipped by Union County (Blairsville, GA), 8-0, in a non-league test.
