The Lone Grove Longhorns softball team scored 1 runs and held the visiting Stillwater Pioneers to 0 in the Longhorns non-league win on Saturday.
The Longhorns now possess a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byng for a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. Lone Grove will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Norris (Firth, NE). The Pirates record now stands at 10-7.
The Pioneers (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK). The Demons go into the non-league test with a 2-11 record. In their last test, Perkins-Tryon was nudged by Oologah (Oologah, OK), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
