Nebraska High School Softball - Pierce bounces Polk County

September 6, 2025: Pierce, NE 68767

The Pierce Bluejays softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Polk County Slammers to 4 in the Bluejays non-league win on Saturday.

The Bluejays now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 6. Pierce will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over North Bend Central (North Bend, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Polk County moves to 1-7 on the season. The Slammers host Centura (Cairo, NE) to clash with the Centurions in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Centurions go into the test with a record of 4-4. Centura lost 5-2 in their recent non-league test against Central City (Central City, NE)
