Texas High School Volleyball - Cypress Ranch over The Woodlands

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX), observed Cypress Ranch's volleyball team top The Woodlands by a tally of 2-0.

The Mustangs (22-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX). The Panthers go into the 6A Region II District 16 test with a 9-18 record. In their last test, Cypress Springs achieved victory over MacArthur (Houston, TX), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Highlanders now own a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a 6A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, September 9. The Woodlands will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Indians record now stands at 1-17.
