With the win, Grosse Ile improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Red Devils host Airport (Carleton, MI) to encounter the Jets in a Huron battle on Monday, September 8. The Jets go into the battle with a record of 10-1. Airport won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Belleville (Belleville, MI)

Next, the Griffins meet the Melvindale Cardinals (Melvindale, MI) in a Downriver contest, on Tuesday, September 9. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
