The Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Union City Indians to 0 in the Blackhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Blackhawks now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Ansonia for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Mississinawa Valley will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Arcanum (Arcanum, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Union City drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Indians host Knightstown (Knightstown, IN) to play the Panthers in a Tri-Eastern outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 4-6. Knightstown won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Waldron (Waldron, IN)
