In Wednesday's league contest, the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) volleyball squad knocked off the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Cadets battle the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 9. St. John's will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

With the loss, Bishop McNamara drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) to battle the Tartans in a contest on Tuesday, September 13. The Tartans come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
