Georgia High School Softball - Portal bounces Screven County

The Portal Panthers routed the host Screven County Gamecocks softball squad by a final score of 11-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Swainsboro notched a victory over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 5-2, in a league battle.

The Gamecocks now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Claxton for a 1A D-I Region 3 battle on Monday, September 12. Screven County will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 13-10 non-league win over St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-8.
